Return to Paradise is just fantastic. We were there this past weekend to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and the setting is pretty amazing. We saw the show on Saturday night and it was terrific. They even had our little girl come up and everyone say "happy birthday" to her. We enjoyed the food and drinks at the restaurant, and the location is stunning. We had one of the "beachfront suites" and it was larger than we were anticipating. It also had a cooktop and good-sized refrigerator, along with dishes and cookware. My wife and daughter had facials at the spa, and had a great time. It was a really memorable trip, and reasonably priced as well. Highly recommended, 10/10

Where do we even begin! We stayed for 2 nights and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and right at home. The rooms were spotlessly clean and so comfortable — exactly what you want after a day in the Samoan sun. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Every meal was delicious and left us wanting more. But the highlight of our stay was hands down the Fiafia Night — the BEST Fiafia night in all of Samoa. The performances, the energy, the culture — it was truly one of a kind and something we will never forget. Return to Paradise Resort absolutely lives up to its name. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Samoa you won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The staff were fantastic — friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The facilities were excellent, the surroundings absolutely beautiful, and it was very easy to get to. The setting made the whole experience feel relaxing and special. The food is basic, but tasty and enjoyable. The coffee wasn’t a highlight, but that was a small thing compared with everything else the resort offers. The Fiafia night was absolutely amazing — such a fun and memorable experience, with a great atmosphere and a wonderful way to enjoy the local culture. Overall, the beautiful surroundings, excellent service, and special experiences made this a stay we’d happily repeat. Highly recommend.

The beach is stunning, small but lovely swimming in the coral right in front of the resort. Loved the idea of staying at a locally owned Samoan resort for our first time in Samoa. Some of the staff were really great and helpful, others though seemed completely unhelpful. Our friend’s room had no air con for the whole stay despite asking for it to be fixed everyday which ruined their stay, but late at night on our last night they finally suggested to move rooms! Our rooms were barely serviced, bed made but no fresh towels the whole time unless we asked. Would call and ask reception to be told they would be delivered in two minutes to then find two hours later still no towels. Three sets of snorkelling gear available but booked everyday 😞 pool was being repaired the whole time we were there, but there were other pools and I swam in the sea everyday anyway. The gym looks to all be brand new and is awesome for a smaller resort. Breakfasts were pretty good, but the rest of the time the food was well overpriced and pretty average at best, we gave up eating at the restaurant and bought snacks from the supermarket to eat instead. On the last night we thought we would give them another chance only to find out there was no fish available, so any fresh local fish dishes were out, gave up and had a beer instead and waited to eat at breakfast the next day. Overall I loved the location (although it is remote so make sure you have a car or be prepared to pay big money for tours like $120 for the clam tour five minutes down the road that only costs $20 if you go yourself or $300 for an Apia tour) but was let down by a few pretty average experiences and the food. Real shame as so much potential here and love to support locally owned places 🫤

As a resort it is located far away from anywhere restaurants or stores though there is a village about 2km away. It's a great location to relax. The beach is a bit small but it's still good for a swim or just snorkel. There is a 24 hour reception. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is fine. Price a bit on the high side. Swimming pools are small and can be crowded. Wifi is free but breaks out from time to time. Rooms are good size and clean.

From the moment you arrive at Return to Paradise Resort, it feels like you’ve arrived in a heavenly paradise. With its breathtaking beachfront, crystal-clear waters, and lush tropical surroundings, you need to punch yourself to check its real! The staff welcomed you and are like a big family, making every moment feel personal and warm — from morning greetings, room service and their helpful tips for exploring the island. The resort offers a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure with its on site facilities, activities, what’s in the rooms and dining options. This sets the gold standard for a tropical island holiday that you’ve always dreamed of. The private beach, pools and spectacular sunsets make every evening magical. The cultural shows give you a real taste of Samoan traditions and culture. While the resort isn’t ultra-luxury, rooms are comfortable with absolutely everything you could ever need. Every meal is fresh and flavorful, and the staff are always happy to recommend local dishes, drinks and activities. Please try the local specialties and island style dishes to get a taste of what the locals enjoy. Return to Paradise is more than a resort — it’s a life changing experience for the better. It’s sad that you have to leave by the end. Its history tying to the 1953 movie of its namesake is surprising at first but after watching it, helps to enhance your stay with touches like the Gary Cooper room and a memorial to lead actress Roberta Haynes gives it that movie/Hollywood connection to share with friends and family.
